HARDWARE BUNDLE REQUEST FORM
Design Objective: Simplify and enhance user interaction with the form by leveraging ServiceNow’s design language system (DLS) and human-centered design (HCD) best practices, with minimal UI customization. Give special attention to improving the process for entering accurate beam location data in the "Location" field, particularly for employees working from home or in collaborative work areas without assigned desks.
The provided design layouts are focused on an MVP implementation, but may include recommendations that are out of scope for the first build:
Details: Pre-populate employee details form including location, Dynamic beam location based on building, Beam Location text field auto-fill lookup, Work from Home option in Location field.

Our testing was a comparison of 2 versions of the Details view comparing an out-of-the-box, editable form to a display employee details as text only requiring the employee to choose Edit link to view and edit field data.
Takeaways from these tests included
Having less fields on the screen felt less overwhelming.
Expected behavior of Beam Location field to auto-fill when entering text.
Steps indicator bar was not clearly identified as multi-form process progression and most thought it was clickable.
Details display only view required more clicks.
The behavior of the X icon within dropdown selectors wasn’t immediately clear.
Lengthy Welcome message was often overlooked
